Never rob from a Martial Arts Master, moron

Some criminals just don't have much of a head on their shoulders. For example, a robber in suburban Milwaukee somehow thought it would be a good idea to rob a studio. Specifically, a Tae Kwon Do studio.

How else could things've turned out for him?

The robber thought he could quietly slip in and out of David Kang's studio in Fox Point with some loot. What he didn't realize is that he would encounter a Tae Kwon Do master who wasn't about to let him off the hook.

Kang was giving a private lesson Tuesday and heard someone in his office. Kang found the man going through his closet, grabbed him by the neck and sat him down while he called police.

The robber took off and Kang gave chase, finally catching up with the man and holding him by the neck until police arrived.

People – usually idiots – tend to forget that martial artists aren't just thugs who learn to throw a punch. They're very highly-trained in the arts of all things pain and fighting, and they condition themselves into becoming veritable athletes in every way. Try to rob one? Bad idea. Try to outrun one? Equally bad. Really, sometimes, crooks really do deserve a beating for being so pitifully stupid.
