There's something fishy goin' on here ...

Sometimes, stories just 'don't feel right' for reasons you can't quite explain; this one is rather less implicit. Ronald Cummings, the father of a missing 5-year-old Florida girl, is about to marry his girlfriend ... who's 17.

Putnam County Clerk of Courts Tim Smith says Ronald Cummings and Misty Croslin applied for a marriage license Monday in Palatka, Fla.

Because Croslin is only 17, she needed consent of both parents. The license is good until March 12.

Relatives say they plan to marry as soon as possible.

Haleigh Cummings has been missing for a month.

Se he's in the middle of having his child disappear on him, and suddenly he decides, what, 'The Hell with it, I'm gettin' married!'? Not to mention his would-be bride is all of seventeen – I didn't know it was even legal at all to marry at that age. She can't even freakin' drink alcohol yet, and she's gonna be a wife! What the hell kind of batshit-crazy parents has that kid got, anyway, allowing her to marry at that age, with that man? She's my age and gonna be a spouse ... What heck's going on here?

I'm telling you, something's very wrong with this picture. Someone should seriously do some digging ... I'm not talking about the routine police searches (which, by the way, have as-of-yet not turned up any clues as to poor little Haleigh's possible condition or location).
