Now this is fucking pathetic

Sometimes, the emotional leadership and guidance you receive in life decides not only whether you grow up a balanced and happy person or not, but also whether you live for very long. This particularly horrible and frankly outrageous story provides a perfect illustration: a gay student named Larry King in Ventura, California, was shot dead in his junior high English classroom in Oxnard, brutally murdered by a 15-year-old little homophobic shit named Brandon McInerney.

Turns out the student, following the excellent counseling he'd received from his foster shelter and guardians, had been wearing makeup and high-heeled boots. While this perhaps wasn't exactly helping the "gays are wussies and girlies" stereotypes, this isn't about that. It truly wasn't the kid's fault – it's exactly what his counselors and guides in his life, including an actual psychologist, had taught him to do in order to "express his sexuality". Disgusting.

Well, now the family of the tragically-deceased King have just obtained a judge's permission to sue the living shit out of these unbelievably idiotic and careless imbeciles. (Though – if King had a family, why was he living in a foster house?

The lawsuit names nearly two dozen defendants, including the Casa Pacifica shelter, its chief executive officer and a psychologist who counseled 15-year-old Larry King.

King's parents say that personnel at Casa Pacifica were negligent in counseling him to express his sexuality, which included wearing makeup and high-heeled boots. They allege the counseling placed the boy in danger.

As with any of these cases, it may not be much – it certainly doesn't ease their pain from losing the kid – but if it means some assholes and bastards are gonna get soundly punished for their terrible deeds, it's the right thing to do.
