As I commented on previously, a lawsuit was declared when it was found that a live baby, result of an attempted abortion, was sealed in a plastic bag and thrown out in a garbage can.
An update: the doctor in charge of the affair, Dr. Pierre Jean-Jacque Renelique, has now been stripped of his medical licence by the Florida Board of Medicine on Friday. Dr. Renelique hadn't performed the botched abortion himself, but he's been found guilty of falsifying documents and records, and delegating responsibilities to unqualified assistants.
I doubt this will bring much comfort to the ex-mother or anyone else horrified at this cruel turn of events, but at least this incompetent asshat won't be committing any more misdemeanors for a while.
